What our members say about us

Penobscot Community Health Care’s (PCHC) experience as a member of the Social Services and Education Group (SSEG) Trust has been invaluable in gaining insight into workplace injury trends. The staff at Cross are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing expert guidance and support. This understanding has played a crucial role in our efforts to reduce workplace injuries significantly. Their proactive approach to risk and claims management has enabled us to implement effective safety measures, training programs and help get people back to work after an injury. The trust's comprehensive resources and ongoing support have not only helped us stay compliant with worker's compensation regulations but have also fostered a safer and healthier work environment for our employees. Put simply, PCHC’s partnership with the SSEG Trust has been an important component of our decades long work to stay safe, care for the community, and be an employer of choice in the region!
Megan Sanders
Chief Legal Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Compliance Officer
Our agency has been a member of the Social Services and Education Group Trust since June 2004. Simply put, when the group performs well, the members benefit. Most years, we receive premium refunds based on the performance of not just our agency, but the group as a whole. This is critical for a non-profit organization and it doesn’t happen by chance. The support Cross Insurance provides through loss control and claims management is second to none. With their guidance, we’ve improved programs, maintained a consistent focus on employee safety, and as a result, keep employees, our biggest asset, at work.
